Guild Hall London

Guild Hall, London

Project Background

8 Storey refurbishment and façade demolition. The City of London was traditionally defined as 1 square mile from the Guild Hall. The site has significant archaeological aspects to it with the remains of a Roman amphitheatre located under it, and the adjacent Guild Hall church dating back to the 16 century.

The project included significant site inspection prior to demolition of the southern 6 storey masonry façade and design of a suspended double skin glass from a double box truss.
